RSPB Loch of Kinnordy Nature Reserve is hosting a Bird Watching for Beginners event on Sunday 19th February 2012.
Whether you are a novice bird watcher or already have some knowledge of identifying our feathered friends, come along and find out more.
The fun begins at 10 am and aims to finish by 12pm. No question is too big or small and site warden, Kim Ross and volunteers will provide expert advice and tips for spotting exciting species on the reserve.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the reserve and local birdlife from the people who know it best. Visitors of all ages are invited to pop along and discover more about the wonderful variety of birds found on this reserve including whooper swans, teal, wigeon, siskins, bullfinches, great tits and more.
All age groups are welcome. If you own binoculars then bring them along, too! The cost of the event is £1 for RSPB members, £3 for non-RSPB members, £1 for children and £5 for family groups.
