Today has been a stunning day, with the sun shining. To start off a great day when we were up at the picnic area, this morning, a tawny owl flew over. On the flood there are few redshank and a small flock of whooper swans. There are still huge numbers of pink footed geese on the reserve feeding on the reserve and adjacent fields. The loch is full of great crested grebes and goldeneye feeding.
