We were lucky enough to have a whole flock of whooper swans very close in to the first hide today, offering great views. One of our visitors today got some great pictures of a peregrine, flying near the last hide with what looked like coot in it's claws. There are also plenty of goldeneye, tufted duck and teal on the loch. I never had much time for birdwatching today as I was in the cafe all day cleaning and preparing. After a day of hard work I am happy to announce that the cafe will open tomorrow, for tea, coffee, drinks, and a variety of cakes. It really looks great upstairs and we look forward to sharing it with you all. That's all for this weekend, check the blog next week for all of the most up to date information.
