We are making some layout and landscaping improvements to the rear entrance of the visitor centre and back car park. Work began in early February and runs until the end of March. Visitors can still access the wetland hides and Heritage Trail as normal, but please be aware of on-going work and stick to designated routes. As part of this work, the access ramp to the cafe will be unavailable for a couple of days. Exact dates will be advertised once work is underway. The finished area will have more seating for visitors to enjoy the view, a demonstration area for binoculars and scopes and a stepped gathering point for groups.

Bird hide improvementsWork on the Gillman and Waterston Hides is almost complete, the windows have been replaced replaced and the new roof of the Waterston Hide should be finished this week. In order to complete this work, each hide will be closed for a short period. Please ask staff or check notice boards for dates and times of hide closures.
