To celebrate the completion of our new accessible underpass we are holding an open day on Saturday 19th October.

There will be lots of free activities for the whole family and our bird hides will also be free of charge.

Join us at anytime from 10am - 4:30pm but don't miss the official opening, taking place at 11:30am with special guest Olympic bronze medallist Eilidh Doyle.

Free activities taking place on the day include;

  • pond dipping, beneath the surface of the water, there's an unseen world of amazing wildlife ready to be discovered. Get dipping!
  • bushcraft, build your own den, try your hand at fire lighting and make your own rope!
  • crafts, look after the wildlife in your garden with a hand-made bird feeder
  • guide in the hide, find out what you can expect to see from our wetland trail and have the experts point out some of our wonderful wildlife!
  • face painting, what will you choose to be?

We hope to see you there!
