Thank you for reminding me because I always play that when the chicks migrate. Or is there a "Welcome home to Wales" song?

This crow has just spent a while digging deep in the nest as if eating something?. I just hope that Wren hadn't laid eggs that it could reach.
Birdies LG DU update.

Quite agree Sheryl , last year was good migration weather, 03(08) arrived back earlier in 2012 than 2011 - but she did have to wait until the resident (laid back male) joined her. There are still a lot of days for 03(08) to arrive as yet, especially as she prefers a menu without flounders.

Thanks for this info , greatly encouraged JAYBIRD and SHERYL

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
There is no need to panic whatsoever.
In 2005 Henry arrived back at Loch Garten on 25th April. He promptly smashed all the eggs and gave EJ a right wigging and she sulked and disappeared for nine days (during which time another couple tried to take over the nest)
In 2007 Henry got back on 22 April and had another smashing time. EJ was so frightened she laid two eggs in about two hours. There is a video of Henry doing his worst.
In 2001 Blue XD arrived back home after a nightmare migration to fine his good wife (green j) living in sin with a Norwegian toy boy. We know from last year's events that old Blue XD is still alive and well.
Tracking tells us that Beatrice, not the swiftest osprey, is well behind schedule. She is roughly eight days behind schedule.

I'm nowhere near panicking, no matter what Limpy thinks about Odin. Nora and Monty are a tough pair and I have every confidence in their safe return.
What a great read ! Thank you TIGER

Thank you. You might like to see Henry in action
That was fascinating, but heartbreaking, to watch. Someone commented on there that Henry's behaviour was unusual - is that true?
