Seren eating - and still managing to shout lol
Here comes Monty for.....
a mating attempt
FISH!! What a greeting from Seren for Monty the master fisherman :-)
Even in the rain, murk and mist, our Monty comes up with the goods
Just hope Seren will cope with the rain when (!) she has eggs to incubate (my thoughts go out to Nora who kept to her post in all conditions)
Tiger and Chloe's Osprey Info
Seren trying to eat the fish tail - just after this shot, Monty comes in to mate while she's trying to swallow!
Birdsong I was thinking the same, about the conditions last year. I was wondering if that is why Nora hasn't returned. She was young, wasn't she? It must have been traumatic for her, flattened into the nest with that terrible flood - and still she clung on and didn't abandon it. I was wondering if she has decided to look for a home elsewhere because of that. It would be good if she was sighted though, so we know she's alright.
I don't think Seren has read the Osprey rule book - what with mating on the perch and eating on the nest!
Nora was a devoted mother last year and Monty also tried to shelter the chicks in the deluges. How nice it would be to think that she has gone elsewhere but I dont think she would. The advantages of tracking show here that if she had been tracked we wouldnt be left wondering ...................
I've only just realised that the cam was frozen again, got empty nest all day. Too late for me to produce the little clip I do have, it's nap time! See you all later. Very happy Seren is back :-D
