Hmm. She was very hungry yesterday and has become increasingly resistant to mating attempts. It did cross my mind whether she was staging here on a return from migration, and found that Monty was prepared to feed her. I expect she'll be back, and is just off exploring the area for a more sheltered perch and a place to sleep unmolested!

And thats the thing Janet, she begged food just like a young chick all that screeching she did,l dont know but she does seem like a young bird and not sure of what she should be doing, l could be wrong...
Yes but on the other hand, she seemed to behave like an experienced female, responding to the sky dancing displays, mating, and particularly being calm when trains etc went by. I expect she'll be back soon.
