I agree too. CHLOE I've pinched these but given DOP and yourself the © . Is that OK?
[/quote]Cirrus, after I posted that montage I looked again, and began to doubt it was the same bird. The forehead markings on the new female are too striated. See centre pic. Soon after that Dyfi reported that it was a different bird.
All copyright goes to Dyfi, not me. I only strung them together.

As I said :) modest you
Agreed again after viewing head shot of the female on Dyfi FB page
I do hope a reasonable name is given to her
The Great Naming Debate is underway as we write...
Ah, just spotted your reply CHLOE - re web site. Thank you
Here I was feeling sorry for Monty, when along comes this gorgeous girl, i was so excited to read Elin had come back, but then found out its not her, but really By the looks of things he certainly likes this young lady, I dont think he every realy got on with Elin.
I think he knows her the way he has accepted her, and she is so at home on the nest, shes a very confident madam
Made for each other, fingers and toes crossed.
The more you rush, the longer it takes
What wonderful news to come home to, Monty has found a lovely girl, and has taken a shine to her! I really hope this is the start of a long relationship with some beautiful cihicks. Thanks everyone for all the pics and posts, not seen them yet, as I was just so excited at the news of the new female. Off to back read.

The site is back up BTW :) When I just looked, the new girl was sitting on the nest, Monty came in with a big clump of nesting material and then they mated. All looking good.
Hi everyone :)
Thanks for all the updates etc. So happy that Monty has some company after what seems like ages on his own.
