Wouldn't it be a spectacular coincidence if these were Monty and Cerist?

Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

  • Clare : The exact same thought crossed my mind.

  • Great minds, eh?

French migration watch point Col d'Organbidexka:

    21st September : 11 ospreys.

  • Alan, one seen at Chidham, early Sunday morning. On the SoS site. Chidham is across the inlet from Thorney and only a few miles from Sidlesham re previous reports.

  • So many still on our shores ! and it's still calm if raining and winds still good for migration I believe. Thanks Alan, your so good at keeping us updated with these lists .

Was down at Ham Wall Saturday, (where two Osprey had been recently) and Shapwick. Sadly the Ospreys had left of course but was blessed by the sight of a Great Egret and two Glossy Ibis !

  • Thanks Mike.
