El Hondo is in Murcia so there are ospreys there all year round as well as in Andalusia. So there are many more than 77 ospreys overwintering in southern Spain in my opinion not to mention those in Southern Portugal :

Was just making sure Alan, I was at this park in 2010 before catching Ospreyitis, saw pink flamingos!
I think you are right, there are a lot more Ospreys in that area than we think.

Comment :En pêche sur lac nord et sud (3-4 plongeons infructueux) puis fait du surplace un grand moment au dessus de la capitainerie sans tentative de pêche... retourne sur izadia, toujours en pêche quand je pars.
