Birdies LG DU update.
Mike thanks for your post re Mrs scratching at the side of the nest. I was unable to get online but read it on my mobile. What a relief, and yes, the nest is now taking shape nicely:-)
Am now going to read the above link to the blog.
Mrs has left the nest appx 5 mins ago. She was scratching again near the side; here you can see the little depression she has made. I notice she sits in this looking out, and wonder if she has made this depression to shelter from the wind?? It's pretty blustery up there by the look of it!
13.30 appx, 5R with a good sized fish eating at the front of the nest. He then flies off with it.

13.42 - 5R is back with his fish. He eats at the edge and Mrs flies off (perhaps he has made her feel hungry)
Tucking in
13.52appx, 5R enjoying his fish. I have never seen a meal enjoyed on the edge before! It seems the sticks help keep the fish in a good position, despite having to balance on the edge to eat!
I just took a still but won't bother to post....but he does seem to be eating in a precarious position
