As the Spanish translocation project was being discussed on the Tracking Summary thread, I was googling to see if there is any recent update -and found a news report (link deleted in view of Tiger's comment below).
They translocated 164 chicks from Northen Europe (Scotland, Finland and Germany) between 2003 and 2012. First breeding by a translocated pair was in 2009 - though a "wild" pair of ospreys, attracted by the translocated chicks, had bred in the area in 2005-6.
It appears there have been 6 breeding pairs in 2012, producing a total of 10 chicks, and they are not translocating any more after this year, as the population is now considered to be established.
The translocation sites were Huelva marshes and Barbate Reservoir inland from Cadiz - for maps of their locations, go back to the bottom of page 1 of the thread
My AV has just alerted to a virus on that site.

I stopped hp.virtcheck
There is now a Portuguese osprey translocation project, which started in 2011.
This seems to be the project blog
Unknown said: I've found there is a newish edition of "Balbuzard Info" the online magazine produced by the French osprey restoration project. This mostly covers the summer of 2010 and last winter. Balbuzard Info 22/23/24 Unfortunately the usual translation tools do not work on .pdf files. I am just looking through it myself, and if there is interest, I will summarise the important bits. Sue
