Hi Alan
The Osprey was still at Warnham Nature Reserve, Sussex this morning, we got some good views as it sat across the lake from the reserve and as it fished until it was mobbed so much it went elswhere. Couple of poor pics below.

Well done Shane and thanks for showing your photographs. It is always great to be in the right place at the right time, but to capture your photograhs is just brilliant.
I have been to Weir a few times this year, but yet to see an osprey there, even though there have been many reports of sightings.
Thanks Brenda amd as you say not only being there but to get photos as well makes it a little more special. This was the one I saw at Weirwood on the 9th of May this year it was also another wet dull day and another case of the right place at the right time.
Shane. I've come to the conclusion you need to post a lot more photos on here - these are great as well! Particularly that top one!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Your too kind Clare, thank you :o)

Brenda, I see like me you are a Sussex resident so the details in this latest post even give you its favourite eating place/telegraph pole!.
Birdies LG DU update.
