Hi Alan
The Osprey was still at Warnham Nature Reserve, Sussex this morning, we got some good views as it sat across the lake from the reserve and as it fished until it was mobbed so much it went elswhere. Couple of poor pics below.

If those are poor whatever constitutes good? What lovely pictures - thank you so much for posting those!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
How lucky you are to get so close to an osprey. Lovely photo of it in the tree.
Brilliant Shane. Glad you got a good view and thanks for posting these. Less of the 'poor'! They are great!

Thank you Clare, Tempo and Chloe and thanks for the kind comments, I was actually notgoing in to the reserve as it was wet and windy but as I drove off the sun came out soI went back. Fortunately when the Osprey did turn up I was in a hide and the dry as it chucked it down while it was trying to fish
Sometimes, Shane, you find you were really meant to get those photos!
Wonderful pictures Shane, I would be doing cartwheels if I had taken them!

Your right Clare I felt the same way when I saw one earlier in the year at Weirwood Reservoir which was my first ever sighting.
Thanks Starling, I done cartwheels in my head at my age not a good idea to do them for real (well for me anyway).
This year, I've been lucky enough to see them at Dyfi and at Rutland Water.
Great pics: Thanks for posting them, SHANE - also for the news of the Osprey there.
