This Topic has been set up to follow the Autumn 2012 migration and wintering of satellite tracked ospreys, other than Caledonia and Alba from Loch Garten, who are followed on this thread, Tracking Caledonia & Alba
This topic replaces Satellite Tracked Ospreys (non-LG) Mar-Aug 2012
N.B. There are still some missing details (and possibly birds) which I will add once the information becomes available.
Red8T reached his normal wintering place on 23/09. Previous years arrival dates were: 23/09/2009,26/09/2010,26/09/2011. How does he do that?
Saw that earlier Alan - back to the same mangroves also - his mortgage must be paid by now!
Ilmari still stopping over in Serbia:
Eriks has reached the Ndogo Lagoon:

Unknown said: to me always the most important is LG and UK nests and is anyone intersted in Hellgate. They are not sure where there birds go from another nest. A first and they are not sure where they go and I am interested and no chance of adding to tracking but very interesting. My priority is Caledonia and Alba but this also interests me and they do not know where they go :)

Hi NiteOwl I have been watching and now going to see if I can find out if they are the same tags as used over here.
I am sure this the first time there has been tagging in this area hence they were not sure where they went to on migration.
Thanks NiteOwl
57375 still in Germany between the Rhine and the border with Holland. This is a most interesting Swedish osprey:
Tweet from Roy Dennis ~ Fiddich has made her first successful crossing of the Sahara, and STAN is also ok on the Cape Verdes and is moving around exploring the other Islands. :)
Thank you NITEOWL , that is so good to know
Latest from Rob Bierregaard:
Lots of movement by our satellite-tagged Ospreys. Cutch died in Colombia but body & PTT recovered. Details on his map. http://bit.ly/I2OR71
