This Topic has been set up to follow the Autumn 2012 migration and wintering of satellite tracked ospreys, other than Caledonia and Alba from Loch Garten, who are followed on this thread, Tracking Caledonia & Alba
This topic replaces Satellite Tracked Ospreys (non-LG) Mar-Aug 2012
N.B. There are still some missing details (and possibly birds) which I will add once the information becomes available.
"Lucky 13" is further than that Alan - according to flickr, which seems to be the first place that the Lake District Project update, he crossed the Channel from Hastings to Le Touquet on Thu 30 Aug, and made his way to the northern outskirts of Paris.
I agree with jsb that his latest reported position is here - Paris International Golf Club - or close by.
SueC : Thanks for that, I have just caught up with flickr. Been busy fighting the badger cull.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Not quite BP, there has been a correction, still a royal location, the old hunting grounds of Richmond Park.
"when Number 13 crossed London we now have a red dot on Richmond Park ".

Cumbria' s Lucky 13 osprey 'lucky to be alive'
I just had a look on faune-iledefrance for sightings of LuckyWhite13. There are no reports. Over the last 15 days in (75) Paris or (95) Val d'Oise (where the Golf Club is situated), there have been no sightings of any ospreys. Does this indicate that Lucky is somewhat unusual in finding this choice of route, for his migration?
Is Lucky the only juvenile from Bassenthwaite please? Hope one of you following Flickr or Twitter will post any news soonest. Thank you.
Cirrus - Yes, "Lucky 13" was an only chick. Have a look at my posts on the first page of this thread for details of the tagged birds.
Thank you SUE - going to look now
EDIT decided to put this thread in Favs - just in case. Don't want to lose it
