"What bitter irony that we can track the exact position of a bird thousands of miles away, but we can't find a child on our own doorstep."
Updates on Alba, Caledonia and Ceulan.
So true re limitations of technology, JSB :'(
IMAGICAT
No news of Stan :o(
Stan’s transmitter has not sent signals on 30th September or 4th October which is not good news
Beatrice and Red 8T at usual wintering sites
Rothiemurchus well south in Mauritania
Morven in Mauritania
Aigan still west of Madrid
Fearna exploring south coast of Brittany
Fiddich settling down in Senegal
Loch Garten stats. and All the important links for LG.
Bad news about Stan but it is unlikely that he headed out over the ocean as we would have seen him go. Either a transmitter failure or something sinister. It is still not the dreaded transmitting from exactly the same spot.
Tiger Signature
Thank you moffer for the updates. I really hope it is a transmitter failure that is stopping signals from Stan. :(

Yet another 'wait and see'. Silence is definitely not golden when it comes to our ospreys.
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
Updates for Aigan, Fearna, Rothiemurchus, Stan and Ceulan.
Headlines are for Fearna who decided against crossing Bay of Biscay and a mystery has emerged about Stan. Last recorded on CV island, suddenly no more signals, why? As Tiger has said, if he was attempting a sea crossing, we would have signals to support that, which leaves us with data failure or an abrupt stop in transmissions due to an incident. Let us try not to dwell on the possibility of an incident, just yet.
Sickening news on Stan
I'm really depressed about Stan. After such a fantastic flight ...
