Google search alert added to my list for Caledonia, possible sightings. Spanish was computer generated I hasten to add.
" quebrantahuesos, águila pescadora, aleto sevilla Puente del Quinto Centenario'
EDIT: I tried translating it back and got..........."vulture, osprey, seville Aleto Quincentennial Bridge"
I hope those waters are not oily.
The photos are super, thank you JSB :-)
IMAGICAT
Well, I'm impressed with the links, thank you JSB. How industrial though! Glad there's a space of trees for roosting. I'm just a wee bit surprised Caledonai has decided on a bit of a stop over just here (since she doubled back to it). But, she knows best !! :)
thanks JSB Seems an odd choice but as long as she is OK.....
I was trying to keep my fears to myself on Cally's choice - seems a very strange place for her
Yes, it is a very strange choice, but she knows little of the world and everything she sees is new to her. Cirrus, I thought that about the water too, but if it was dirty, she would have moved on quickly and of course, she may well have moved, so when the next data comes in, we will at least get that question answered. Of the two at LG, Cally was more the explorer type. Bridges have their attractions for birds, look at the pigeons and starlings, who make them their homes.
Will update RD birds later.
I have to wonder if there is a fishing fleet at the port Caledonia has chosen.
'Scrap' fish thrown overboard would likely be easy meals, I'd think.
JanetM, on one of the posts I read at Dyfi it was mentioned the largest fish market in the area was not far away!!
