ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data Site
Sat track schedule Spring 2014
LG 7 days; RW & SWT nil; LDOP varies
Updates for Blue 44, a little bit further north, on edge of Etang d'Hardy, but probably in flight as over a field, beside some houses and Blue YD, doing his usual thing.
Ceulan is in an irrigated agricultural area, one mile south of the tributary of the River Senegal.
Alba shuttling shore to island, Caledonia fishing as usual, tried a new stream to NE on 13th.
GE now has less plots of data, than recently. Ceulan may find his fishing places drying up, whereas these two do not have that problem. Neither does Blue 44 have any fishing worries. I just wonder how long those on European stopovers will remain on location.
It will be interesting to see if any of the holidaying Ospreys actually stay in Europe. I suspect the temperatures are starting to fall - mind you probably still a lot warmer and drier than the UK summer that they were born into!
New updates as of 17th Oct for Fearna and Aigan. Fearna is south west of Pamplona and Aigan as at 1800H on 16th was just south of Tangiers. Sadly no update on Stan.
LATEST BLOG from Richard
Updates for Blue 44, Blue YD, Aigan and Fearna.
Headlines for Aigan, now continuing with migration, having reached the northern tip of Morocco, after stopover.
Fearna, who has left Brittany and is now in northern Spain, SW of Pamplona and the data still seems a bit sketchy.
Blue YD has made a 40 mile move to the West, on the River Senegal. We were just speculating that the area he left near Rosso, could be drying up. I wonder if that is true? Meantine Blue 44 continues with his French hosts.
LOL I think it's time I called it a night :) Just wondering why my browser couldn't find your updated tracking data page on the website jsb, until I realised I had uploaded and saved as jsbtrackingdata.com :)))
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
ChloeB: Updating is tricky stuff, which reminds me I need to make a new back-up copy of the spreadsheet.
Alba and Caledonia updates. Caledonia seems to be ranging more, but that is probably only due to fewer points being placed on GE, so it just looks that way. I would assume that if she were to be flying around all the time over a wider area, we would be seeing more data plotted.
