seagull: Indeed, this year has been a pleasure after that particularly worrisome season a couple of years back. Laddie has been just brilliant and it would be great to see them both back next year.

Thanks for video link TIGER Very poignant. As everybody else, if dearest Lady has gone all my best wishes and hopes go with her for a safe and reasonable migration, overwinter and return next year.
The camera is playing up Blue44/Lewis was on the nest, presumably shouting for breakfast and checking to see if the fault was with my laptop I missed Laddie coming in with fish. He could only have just lande as fish was still in his talons Blue took it and dad flew off
Its a very large fish and seemed to still alive. Blue didn't start eating but just held onto the fish and now camera has completely frozen so can't see him eating but sure he must be

Morning all
Am away at moment on borrowed computer, following all the news and loved that last photos.
If Lady has gone Laddie and Blue/Lewis on nest at 6.30 with Fish, at moment it is just the young one!!
The Web cam keeps freezing,nd unfortunately cannot take a capture for you all.

The fish is like an EJ whopper and Blue is eating now but I doubt he can eat all of it....certainly not all in one go. Wonder if he'll come back to it later or whether Laddie will pinch it?
Freezing camera making things very difficult but a few minutes ago Blue was looking up and then mantling over his breakfast, but only for a short while

As Patily says the freezing camera making it difficult, but Blue/Lewis moving Fish around and looking agitated.
Just popped back to see how Blue getting on...tucking in with gusto and camera seems to have sorted itself
