How many of us are torn between dread and hope for the new day to come?
The peace and quiet of the LG nest is punctuated solely by unalarming chick noises. Long may that last.
IMAGICAT
Brilliant Barbara: Thanks for the fish counts. Hmmm. Forget the ladder idea; maybe what we we need is a lightning strike to take out #2?
We will need a hard hat, long thick leather gloves and a suit of armor to deal with #2 lol
Unknown said: Well, seems like we have volunteers to help abduct #3. How about meeting under the nest this time tomorrow? I'll bring the ladder; Barbara, you're in charge of holding it. Heron: You get to create a diversion and Scylla, you can videotape the event so we can study it later for future reference. Who should climb up and do the deed - everyone else on the blog I suspect!! OK, attack of the sillies has now got completely out of control so I'm going to shut up - or at least be serious!

Formerly known as Barbara Jean
I have to go to sleep. Was hoping to witness a delivery from Odin coinciding with EJ bringing in a whale. As usual the recorder will be going.
Shall have to find something nice on the radio to send me to sleep, otherwise my mind will locked into the misery at LG :'(
SYL. MOFFER should be here today, don't know what time.
Annette: Don't worry about having an attack of silliness. It helps to lighten the mood. Anyway I'm the man who's shouting at Osprey chicks, who are nesting around 200 miles away from where I live :-)
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Seriously I will wager a £5 donation that some one will be bitten when they try to tag and ring #2
Like I said, maybe a lightning strike is in order? :-))
Heron77 said:I'd really love it if Odin and EJ both landed on the nest at the same time, with a giant fish each,
I hadn't seen that when I wrote my last post. Great minds and all that ;-)
Love the idea of the rescue party, count me in (but no head for heights - but I did say I'd do almost anything to set #3 free!).
See you later, Scylla :-)
I'm off to bed - thanks for chat and smiles! - it's getting on for 11 p.m. here (don't know how everyone East of me can get by on so little sleep!). Take care all and do hope there's some improvement today.
EJ has been gone quite a while ! And I just checked the wide cam and she is not standing on the edge of the nest.
