Hi everyone. If you didn't check the last few pages of the previous week, it was very busy. I'm going to catch up all the latest posts after dinner.
OK, this one for Auntie.
On the twelve days of Christmas my true love sent to me . . .
Twelve White-tailed Eagles nesting / Eleven Reindeer roaming / Ten Grey Wolves howling / Nine Elk nibbling / Eight Taiga Bean Geese grazing / Seven Mountain Hares hopping / Six Lynx prowling / Five Whooper Swans / Four Brown Bears / Three Willow Warblers / Two Saimaa Ringed Seals / And a Pygmy Owl in a Spruce Tree.
Morning all! aquilareen: Oh my! Thank You for that brilliant 12days! It must be really annoying when too hot to sleep. I have to say that I rather have these freezes for a while than those humid hots.. And Santa really lives here, honestly :)

Paul(Heron77)I totally agree about learning different things from this site. I haven`t been here for long and I have learned sooooo much. Not to mention all the laughs (and tears as well) and every fellow-blogger are extremely friendly and willing to share.
Annette: Santa visits most of homes personally with his sack of present. But oddly the family's dad is often a "no-show" at that moment ;)
Tiger: thanks for the photo-site, just amazing!
OG: loved that Christmas-site, thanks

Temp is now a pleasant 19.6 C, humidity dropped to 43%. We had 7 mm of rain - great for the garden. After a day of bludging, I must go and serve our evening meal. The things I have learnt today because of this blog !!!!!!
Monring auntie thanks for the link I almost felt like a child again looking at the pictures and reading Santa's letter. Made me feel very festive. Have a good day.

Hello Annette I must say I did see the funny side afterwards and OH was mortified. Will be treading very carefully for the next few days as there are going to be snow snowers and sub zero temperatures according to the weather forecasts.
Tiger thanks so much for the link to these photographs, wonderful, wonderful. I cfan sit for ages looking at photos of wild life.
Monring Lindybird I know how you feel about all the pushing and shoving. what really annoys me though is when somebody tries to push in front of you in the endless queues thre ar at this time of the year. Not a lot of Christmas spirit sometines so hope your shopping trip is not too stressful.
aquilareen sorry the heat and humidity is getting a bit much for you. Perhaps we should send some of the cooler weather we are now having accross to you. I have just been out to see to my birds and load their feeders etc up with food for the day. Bird baths frozen as well.
Morning original goldfinch what a coincidence I lived bery near to Addington Golf Club, small world isn't it. We aare about 45 minutes from Wareham and about an hour from Weymouth and Portland. We like Weymouth very much as they are managing to keep it as an old fashined seaside resort. there iws a RSPB reserve there as well.
I am amused by starlings I must say. We used to have lots coming into the garden and I always refer to them as the hooligans of the bird world. They make a terible mess throwing the food all over the place unlike my sparrows, dunnocks, robins and bluetits plus a pair of pied wagtails who are very etidy when they visit. Don't know what has happened this year though. After the young starlings fledged they all seemed to disappear and I probably seen on or half a dozen at the most and then its just a flying visit. Have a good day.
Morning Alan hope you are still enjoying your "me time". What a good photo ospreys just fill me awe, they are just so majestic.
