I guess that Blue XD is now set to be part of Loch Garten History. He deserves a page by himself.
Do people have data on his exact arrival time and some videos and pictures.
There has been a blog regarding him here on 28 Mar 2012 5:56 PM
There is still confusion as to his identity but he is said to be the long term partner of Green J or otherwise known as S06
So Blue/White XD may be S18 but there are certain problems with that.
S06 and S18 also parented a chick translocated to Rutland viz. T04
I wrote about Green J here on 3 March 2012

Sue C - Thank You for clearing this up as to where the information came from. I was writing as you were.
I have read the link from August 26 and it does read
"I will try to get this bird up on my website this evening. http://www.roydennis.org"
I just wonder if anything happened to the bird that there was a change of mind not to get this bird up on his website but then same for Blue XD or Yellow HA.
Thanks also Tiger - We are all prompt replying tonight and cross posting :):).
I will look out for both early in the season - will be easy to spot both near to the nest.
So we reach 11 March. Now Blue XD should be on his way by now. Will we get to hear about his migration?
That would be nice, wouldn't it, Tiger? I hope that both he and Green J return safely.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

Well we have not heard about Green J either.
Would be good to hear something. This silence is deafening.
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
It seems rather strange that nothing has been heard about either of them - perhaps although fitted with the trackers - there were no funds available to download the information? Or is that a stupid suggestion on my part?

It is a very good question. Just one that we do not have an answer to.
I bet Blue XD gets back well before Odin,
