I guess that Blue XD is now set to be part of Loch Garten History. He deserves a page by himself.
Do people have data on his exact arrival time and some videos and pictures.
There has been a blog regarding him here on 28 Mar 2012 5:56 PM
There is still confusion as to his identity but he is said to be the long term partner of Green J or otherwise known as S06
So Blue/White XD may be S18 but there are certain problems with that.
S06 and S18 also parented a chick translocated to Rutland viz. T04
I wrote about Green J here on 3 March 2012

Excellent. Thanks for the link to news of Blue's nest Tiger. I do hope he finds his way back 'home' and manages to meet up with his female. Although in this arctic blast, I simply hope he has found shelter. Also hope to read more of him on Roy's pages.
We have another Osprey to try & keep track of now! He seemed in good health, and looked handsome, though not of course anything like as handsome as Odin the Mag! Hope we get news of how he fares, and of course will be fascinated to see whether Roy's hard work on mending the nest pays off.
This from the XD files before Odin re-appeared....
Wonder how he is ?
Latest from Roy Dennis on Blue XD:
"For the queries about Blue XD - he is back at the nest we built him a week ago in Strathspey."
But ALAN you don't mention his visitor there!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
How fascinating this is... Glad that Blueboy is still OK and might yet mate and nest with a female - but who??
OG : I had not read Roys blog post at that point. Surprised that EJ went to the other nest. Ospreys continue to surprise us each year.
Well well well! Looks like Madam is hedging her bets! So that's where she was last week.
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.

Well Blue XD has been fine for the last 15 years so it is not likely he came to grief since we last saw him.
Well green J has been around for a while. She winters in Spain so her migration should be fairly easy.
