This Topic has been set up to follow the Spring 2012 migration, and summer activities, of satellite tracked ospreys, excluding Rothes and Tore from Loch Garten, who are followed on this thread.
It replaces this earlier thread, Satellite Tracked Ospreys (non-LG) Aug 2011 - Feb 2012.
Is there any data at all from Leri's transmitter ? We seem to have had no more news
Patily - there was a comment fairly recently (Dyfi facebook?) that they are still getting 'random data' or words to that effect. Nothing useful or seriously indicating she might still be alive, is the implication.
Thanks So gutting these amazing and beautiful young ospreys that just don't survive
Has anyone any news on Rothiemurchus. I cannot follow Google Earth.
Roy Dennis' birds are not on Google Earth. His latest report as at 1st July said:
Rothiemurchus is hanging around on the Tay - not far from LOTL in fact.
Beatrice and Red 8T are "at home" raising chicks.
Morven was also seen to have chicks as at mid-June.
Sue C thanks very much and now found it on Roy Dennis's website.
Hopefully he will find a nest next year.
