This Topic has been set up to follow the Spring 2012 migration, and summer activities, of satellite tracked ospreys, excluding Rothes and Tore from Loch Garten, who are followed on this thread.
It replaces this earlier thread, Satellite Tracked Ospreys (non-LG) Aug 2011 - Feb 2012.
Rothiemurchus update here - still ranging between Speyside and Loch Tay, and spent one night a mile from his natal nest.
Update from Roy Dennis on Morven
"Now with young
17 June 2012
Morven has young but not sure how many because the weather has been wet and each time I've monitored the nest she has been crouching over the young trying to keep them dry."

Update from Roy Dennis:
"1st July - all the birds updated - remains a very wet summer - we've been busy ringing and satellite tagging - still a lot to do. Off to Loch of the Lowes and Lake Bassenthwaite next ."
3 year old Swedish tracked osprey 57375 has returned to Sweden
I looks like the other pair of 2 year olds have perished on the way home. One in France and the other in Western Sahara.
How very sad to survive 2 years and then perish on way home. The more I learn of ospreys its a miracle when any of them survive the hazards of migration. Can relate to the dangers of the Sahara crossing but France?
