This Topic has been set up to follow the Spring 2012 migration, and summer activities, of satellite tracked ospreys, excluding Rothes and Tore from Loch Garten, who are followed on this thread.
It replaces this earlier thread, Satellite Tracked Ospreys (non-LG) Aug 2011 - Feb 2012.
Tiger : I have followed Jukka since 2009 through many difficult migrations. It is disappointing that it had to end in Finland after all the dangers he faced elsewhere. RIP Jukka
Alan and Tiger ~ I am so upset to hear about Jukka, I followed him from last year and thought he was doing well. :'(

Oh I don't believe it Sooo sad His spirit will live on
I am so sorry to hear the bad news. What makes it even worse is that he had made the difficult journey back home.
So sad to hear of Jukka's loss :'(
IMAGICAT
Awful news and more heartbreaking that he had made it home where hopefully he should have been safe. Heartbreaking.
Such sad news about Jukka.
