Hallo folks. Not much action yesterday afternoon on last week's chat, though SueC quoted a poem by the Wolof fishermen of Senegal about ospreys, which I found reassuring.
very good Caerann, "enjoyed" the story, thanks. I haven't read those books I'm afraid, I'm a very light reader, almost all fiction. Sad I know:(
Hope everyone else is OK. Frosty start here in CT but nice day forecast.

A bald eagle:)))
I was an osprey, quelle surprise! I like fish and the seaside!
I think as I answered big and lazy that was me!!!
Surprisingly I turned out to be an Osprey also.
Weather cloudy windy and mild today. Temp 14.3c , Wind SW 30mph gusting to 49mph.
This morning the shopping mission was completed without mishap.
Annette:
Portmerion does have shops but they are tourist orientated. There is also a hotel and some self catering apartments. Here is another photo:
I took the quiz twice and first I was an Osprey and second I was a Bald Eagle. Interesting.
Another lovely photo, Alan. Makes me want to sit by the fountain with a cocktail, shaken not stirred of course.
Annette: The 1893 Columbian Exposition is a particularly favorite subject of mine and I have several books on it. I did read Devil in the White City and found the parts about the doctor to be extremely creepy, however, I enjoyed the book overall.
Afternoon everyone. Weather here has been dull, temps around 3C foggy and slightly raining, so it`s dark all the time. Like my mum says: two dusks facing each other ( sorry for the awkward translation.) Been busy at the work, so haven`t posted for few days, but been reading and totally enjoining every comment and lovely pics. My cat usually pukes it`s own hair but thankfully not too often.
BTW I am bully bald eagle....
