Thanks for the links Alan.   Was great to hear that the Rutland team had seen several Scottish Ospreys, does anyone know any information on the ringed birds they spotted, Blue/White ED, and Blue/White KL, was just wondering what areas they were from, as I know Blue/White LK is a Tweed Valley bird from visiting there last year.

Edit: Was just thinking they maybe mixed up the KL and LK ring! 

I've looked through the Rutland blogs and can only find four Scottish ospreys they identified, with a place of origin given for just one: 

Blue/white CT, seen Bijoli Island, adult hatched 2009 Black Isle

Blue/white ED, seen Tanji, adult 

Blue/white KL, seen Tanji, adult also seen in 2011

White/black KL, seen Sine Saloum, adult also seen 2011

Perhaps #5 is Rothiemurchus (blue/white AE) though that's cheating a bit as they didn't have to read the ring ID. 

Thanks SueC , I was wondering about that too. Perhaps when John Wright updates his website we will have some more information and pictures of the ringed birds which were seen.
