Dunedin male:
Approx 10 days to hatching at Sanibel Island.
I think this is the Dunedin male calling. The sun is shining and the chest is not clear. However which ever one is it is doing a lot of calling.
Edit: Oops now I see the chest and it appears to be the female calling . She looks like she is food soliciting . Perhaps a good sign.
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
Definately the female as the male is very Persil white. She was doing the same at this time yesterday. I wonder how far off egg laying is? Not seen any mating going on and eggs were not laid last year till end February so we may have a long wait.

Female just left the nest at Dunedin:
I just saw one of them working on the nest cup at Dunedin . I could only see a wing and it flew off. The nest cup is a little better formed today
Dunedin female food soliciting again this morning

I am surprised to see no perch over-looking the nest - I expect there's a good reason for its omission that insightful members will point out to me :-)

The Dunedin pair were on the nest today and they have done a lot to make the nest cup nice
