Dunedin male:
Osprey on the nest at Caerlaverock - first time I've managed to see it this season.

And it gets better - two birds on the nest - no confirmation it is the same male from last season yet
Goodness, looks like half a ton of silage has been dumped on that nest!
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
According to the Glaslyn blog an egg was laid on Tuesday. Camera appears to be down.
Birdies LG DU update.
It was reported on Twitter and FB yesterday Mike. Some confusion as to actually when it was laid. Apparently the presence of the egg was only confirmed first thing yesterday morning.
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data

Unknown said: Mary GK - Red 8T was updated a few days ago and had roosted on Isle of White. You know he is a favourite and once he is settled will be off to sit at the fish farm and look for him. The weather yesterday should have been favourable to complete her (Beatrice) journey from Dundee home to Forres. I did write too another Oil Company after Tallisman Oil sponsored Beatrice to do the same but they declined (I wonder who ?) - I will gtell you the story in a PM later.

Keith just checked Roys website, still no news of Beatrice getting over those mountains to home yet. Hope we hear soon.
Also hope to hear more news of Red 8T also.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
That's a brilliant capture Alan!
They are getting ready to welcome the ospreys in Finland (Seili, Hauiluoto and Hamie) See here
When the Hailuoto ospreys arrive they have to fly maybe eighty miles to fish due to the pack ice.
Tiger Signature
Dunedin chicks and all four.
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
