Hi everyone. If you didn't catch pages 20 and 21 of last week's blog, check them out for lovely photos of Woodpigeons, sunset at Solway, and a wonderful shot of 10 puppies!! And, of course, interesting and funny posts from fellow bloggers.

So sorry you can't indulge. I actually prefer savoury food most of the time - love savoury buffets, lots of little bits and pieces - probably eat too much, though, when I don't see it all on my plate at the same time! OH has the sweet tooth in this house - no meal is complete for him without pudding or cake! I increased fruit, so now he eats fruit and cake!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Mmmm...Alan, the garden on TI looks suspiciously leaf-free to me....
Not guilty mlud. The photo was taken in summer so there were no leaves around.
I'm so glad to hear it, Alan. I did think the lawn was looking surprisingly lush.
BTW just checked up on GE and I make it that R & M are only 72kms apart - no idea how accurate the measuring is on GE, though.
Sandy : Just had a look at GE and it is definately less than 100km. I make it 43miles.
FAB
Evening everyone. So glad that R & M have (more or less) reached their final frontiers for the next stage of their young lives. They are remarkably close to one another despite their different routes. After reading up on last year's events I was reluctant to follow the chicks after they set off from LG but the R&M story is enthralling. Alice is doing a great job in delivering the updates so frequently! For anyone planning a visit to LG next year, why not visit Mercedes the polar bear in Kingussie!
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/highlands_and_islands/8318276.stm. Kingussie is on the A9 south of Aviemore, not far from LG at all. Great to see her in a much bigger environment than the one she had in Edinburgh Zoo. FAB as Alan might say!

....And I make it that 72 miles is 44.64km - so you could say that we are in agreement!
Interestingly though, Mallachie's very last point seemed to show her veering to the North-West so she might not be heading towards big sis after all.
72km is 44.64 miles that should have read, sorry!
Sandy : I did notice that Mallachie had turned NW. Perhaps she was hunting. Tomorrows blog should be extremely interesting. These birds certainly encourage lots of human speculation.
Emma : Thanks for your post on my page. Also thanks for the info on Mercedes the polar bear. I am sure it is a much better location than Edinburgh Zoo.
