Go go Rothes... your sister is en-route, show her how it's done...
All for one and one for all.
This is an interesting report bcause we at LG do not have the privilege of seeing our birds fish. There probably are records of various birds & the number of attempts & failures per fish caught. We assume that differs for first year juveniles & experienced adults. I,m wondering if this is unusual for Rothes or just all in a typical days work..
Wonderful to know someone has seen her. Would be even better if we had a pic of her too!!
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
That would be lovely Sandra, however good to know where she is and is safe!
Thank you very much for this thread and your observations LIBELLULE

I'm trusting that Rothes is not always so unsuccessful at fishsing !!!
You confirmed his leg ring?? PJ ??
Here is a 2d/3d rotating map of the Port Maubert area, the fish farm is prominent, and the estuary as well. It does look that the area is a safe place, as also borne out by Rothes' long stay there since 30th June. The map also shows many of her perches, dotted around the area.

Amazing JSB - thank you. The fish farm certainly is prominent - somehow I was not expecting it to be a series of so many pools. Interesting.
