In response to the demand for an osprey chat thread I am now making one for September 2011. I guess there will be quite a bit to chat about given the success of the extension thread.
Tiger Signature
Chloe - Thanks for the spot on Olly - That was a great bit of video. Lucky bird, that one. Hope he has made good on the saving of his life and is making a safe migration back down this fall.

Dyfi Osprey Project
20.45 - Einion's data has just arrived. Last night he spent the night 75 miles south of the north Spanish coast in La Rioja (yes, the wine region!). He set off again this morning and by 3pm he was passing Madrid 50 miles to the east at an altitude of 162m and a fairly rapid 44mph.
The last plot we have for him is at 6pm tonight - he has continued southward and is 120m west of Valencia near a village called La Marcha. Image coming up plus details of how to follow him on Google Earth. Ems

Hi everyone.
Thanks for starting the new thread, Tiger. Thanks to everyone for all the posts pics etc. It's amazing following Tore and Bynack on their migration routes. Both seem to be doing well but I'll be glad when Tore has reached mainland Europe. Perhaps she'll fly over the English Chanel tomorrow :-)
Before I hit "post". I've got the GE files for the LG Ospreys, and the Rutland Ospreys. Are there any other kml links I could add to GE? Many thanks in advance :-)
Paul.
