In response to the demand for an osprey chat thread I am now making one for September 2011. I guess there will be quite a bit to chat about given the success of the extension thread.

My blimming internet keeps going down arrrhhhh.
Great news Tiger :o)))
Here's the report from Dyfi
18.45 Very interesting developments re: Dulas. Late this afternoon, Chris Hammersley - a visitor here today - reported seeing an osprey at 15.00 carrying a fish from the estuary in front of Ynyshir, towards Llyfnant Valley direction. Just received update on Dulas' movements this afternoon, at 15.00, he was down the estuary in front of Ynyshir! Looks very much that he's caught his own fish! Many thanks Chris for the info. Al
and MORE good news.
On another positive note, Einion is in Morocco! This morning he was fishing at a huge reservoir near Rabat and he's the right side (west) of the Atlas mountains ( i.e.not the desert side). Vicky is still working on the Google Earth plots which will be up later as well as a map to put up on Facebook with an explanation of where Einion is and how he got there. I know this afternoon he was in Casablanca.. Play it again Sam.. Ems.
Loch Garten stats. and All the important links for LG.
I have no idea where these photos came from, but I found them on my pc while looking through the (thousands of) photos that I have. Hope you like them.
Sorry folks. I deleted them. Copyright issues and all that
lol Thanks ChrisS
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Brilliant...
All for one and one for all.
I agree ChloeB, it looks more like a tangle,
the best news is that Dulas has been away and caught himself dinner.
Einions trip from Malaga to Casablanca
It looks like he arrives at a huge reservoir at Rabat at 13.00 yesterday and left after a food stop at 10.00 this morning. A well deserved break and feed for this young bird.
Well it seems that the LG ospreys (all 3) are the chilled out bunch of the osprey world when you look at birds from other nests zooming down to Africa :)
Sorry you had to delete the two fishing osprey pictures MOFFER they were wonderful thank you and at least you can look at them when ever you want :)
A very old Shropshire Lad.
Here is a pic from Google Earth of Ain Ouda Lakes in Morocco, where Einion spent a leisurely day yesterday, by Contributor W12.
Hi just looking in and notice that Bynack and Tore are still in their same respective places but that Einion has reached Morocco.
