Hi folks, thought I'd start us off.
A quiet morning and then dramatics in the afternoon with I think 5 fish being delivered by Odin and EJ. I think we all thought EJ had started her migration but no, as a super mum she appeared this evening with a fish delivery. Yesterdays posts will confirm all that went on. Suffice to say that she is still on the nest and has been since about 10pm last night with a fish in her tallons , probably hoping a tween would pop in!!!!!
Leave it now to the late night brigade to see what happens next.

Hey Lynette: My, you're on the ball starting the thread. Thanks!
EJ on nest, wondering "Why am I here?"
Can't stick around; have to go out but will be back later....
EJ's just had a stretch and shake about and is still on the nest
That's the shot I just posted to round off yesterday's thread. I hope we'll be able to see more clearly, later, what that "fishing line/weight" is :-(
IMAGICAT
Enjoy your day out Annette see you later, signing off now and better go to bed!!!
It looks like a large stick to me Scylla but vision will be better in the daytime and it will confirm whether it is fishing line!
Hi everyone :-)
Thanks for starting the new thread, Lynette. Just finished reading through yestarday's DU. What dramatic events! Thanks for all the posts, pics, and vids.
Lovely to see plenty of fish brought for Tore and Bynack. If that is a fishing line/ weight at EJ's foot, then I'm bloody fuming. Ospreys have a tough enough life without having to endure human carelessness.
Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
The trouble is, the nest has got quite untidy with all the pottering about, and crash-landings, and squabbles over fish, and dragging fish across the nest etc.!!!! Also, as only part of the nest has actually been used because of "the large branch", a large area has been used as the ospreys' garden, which has grown some fantastic grasses.
Let's try not to get ahead of ourselves and wait till first light to see if it is.
I agree, Paul. There's SO much human carelessness at the moment - everywhere. I despair.

Yes, Lynette. Well said. But . . .
