Tiger is back in north London tonight and so can start threads again. Having been to the home of ospreys everything takes on much more meaning.
Tore reaches 72 days today. Rothes migrated at 79 days so the end may be quite close. However I hasten to add that other chicks have hung on for as long as 97 days in recent times.

EJ was chirping in the background, a osprey was flying around, Tore on the lookout and alert. Finally she flew off and EJ came back to the nest and is feeding on her whale of a fish. A juve can be heard screeching in the background. Night cam has come on.

There's quite a lot of communication going on between several of the ospreys at the moment.
Hello, Lynette. It was Bynack with the fish.
EDIT: That super picture you posted of the juvenile standing on the fish is Bynack. He tried very hard to fly away with it at least 3 times - to no avail.
Hello, Emma, it's fun watching this tonight?!
EJ is always incredibly alert and certainly wouldn't have wanted that large remnant to have been claimed by an intruder!
Hi Daisy Ray and Emma, yes I've realised now I've caught up that it was Bynack with the fish. He obviously has had his fill and flew off leaving EJ to come in and have her supper.
Still some calling going on in the background now and then.
Thank you all for all your posts, pics - some really great captures, and of course the vids.
Lynette, have you recovered from the Kids Week and enjoyed this lovely sunny day today?
It was my birthday yesterday. So the washing machine packed up today full of soapy water just after filling up!!!!!!
However, we have had a few glasses of wine and now . . who cares? The ospreys are enjoying a lovely looking fish and all's right with the world.
Hello girls :o)
There is still a lot of that monster fish left. EJ is doing her best to eat it.
