Tiger is back in north London tonight and so can start threads again. Having been to the home of ospreys everything takes on much more meaning.
Tore reaches 72 days today. Rothes migrated at 79 days so the end may be quite close. However I hasten to add that other chicks have hung on for as long as 97 days in recent times.

Bynack got a very nasty peck when trying to steal the fish, he and I were both stunned and upset :'(
IMAGICAT
That peck looked very close to his eyes. Poor Bynack, he didn't deserve that. I hope that he's ok.

Poor Bynack - it's tough being at the bottom of the 'pecking order'. However, having just looked at the recent videos (thank you), I reckon he doesn't need a satellite tag, we'll be able to track his journey south by the racket he makes!!
Bynack's back - not screeching but calling - so far ;-)
Spoke too soon...
Bynack is back on the nest and calling. Only his pride was hurt thank god.
After the pecking incident, Bynack recovers and flies off, Tore isn't sure what to do with the fish, and even seems to lack confidence re carrying it away so has a trial jump, then flies off too. Lots of minutes are cut out of this, to make a short video with the main events.
And he's gone again.
He's back again :o) and gone.
Fish @ 2122hr - per EJ - HUGE!!!!!!!!!! Bynack has it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
