Tiger is back in north London tonight and so can start threads again. Having been to the home of ospreys everything takes on much more meaning.
Tore reaches 72 days today. Rothes migrated at 79 days so the end may be quite close. However I hasten to add that other chicks have hung on for as long as 97 days in recent times.

Tore has the fish - definitely!
IMAGICAT
In the meantime, here's the long version of "EJ calling sweetly for fish" with Odin popping in at the end. Just for EJ addicts, cos nothing happens ;-)
Not sure who delivered that last fish. Think it was Odin because they did not hang around.
Oh dear, I do hope Bynack wasn't hurt then when Tore gave him a good peck to end the fish-pinching attempt.
The fish looks like an EJ whopper Tore's not eating it but she won't let Bynack have it He just tried to steal it and she pecked him She's starting to eat now
The 1914hr fish delivery, Tore gets it eventually but I haven't even seen who delivered it yet - the mystery shall now be solved:
Bynack has flown from the nest.
Tatics perhaps? If Tore can eat in peace on the nest, then perhaps he can come back and pinch some?
It's a big fish and should be big enough for both if Tore doesn't fly with it.
Loch Garten stats. and All the important links for LG.
She's done just that
Great video scylla. Looks like Odin brought it. I wonder what Bynacks hesitation was. Even Tore took a second look before she grabbed it.
Tore has flown with the fish now, so no supper for Bynack :(
