High starting off thread with a ghostly picture. Been high drama through the day - some of it quite comical. Bynack kept us entertained with his prolonged screeching at one point. In other words a quite normal day for our osprey family.!!!!!!

Is there something wrong with Odin - he is holding his wing funny.
All 4 on nest making plenty of noise - didnt sound like alarm calling though.
All 4 birds on the nest shouting at someone.
Loch Garten stats. and All the important links for LG.
Bynack on his own now....
Nothing wrong with Odin MARY - he was just at ''attention'', looking big and impressive to the kids. And I seriously wonder if Odin was trying to get the kids to follow him to fishing grounds.
What a wonderful bird Odin is !!! Definitely dad!
Morning Cirrus - thanks for putting my mind at rest - it was strange behaviour I thought, I hadnt seen that happen before on the nest and it lasted a wee while, so I naturally start to worry - what am I going to be like when they leave, will be waiting on tenderhooks until I hear each and every satellite update LOL. I wonder if Odin was wanting the chicks to follow him to show them where to fish, would be wonderful if we saw Tore bring in a fish, somehow I dont think wee Bynack is up to it, but he could surprise us - then again by all accounts of what has been mentioned before on here there has never been a youngster fish for themselves since many years ago.
Nothing is set in stone MARY :) We'll see
Has anyone any news about Daisy Ray please? Is she on holiday?
