Tore is entering her 52nd day today. Will she fledge?
Not convinced she is quite ready yet...but I have been known to be wrong :)
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
Both chicks look far from fledging to my inexperienced eye.
IMAGICAT
If anyone else, like me, has never seen an osprey on the verge of fledging - I just found this on YouTube, Glaslyn nest. Now that's helicoptering! ;-D
Yes we have all that to come, which says that Tore (or Bynack) is not quite ready yet.
I just wish the cam could zoom out a little so we can see a bit more when they do start some serious helicoptering.
EJ has landed :-)
EJ's visit sparks some wingercising.
Tore is wingercising and squawking off-screen, how frustrating >:(
Tore, after the sound of a brief flutter, has gone totally silent. Where is she? :o
The remark above about Tore going silent is out of sequence, waiting for video to catch up.
Tore goes off to the right.
"I think" I can hear her rustling around on the log where EJ usually sits . The one just to the right out of screen range. Bynack is loudly calling for breakfast
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
Bynack is laying down facing the barricade on the right and looking up quite frequently so I assume Tore is standing there
Phew! She's back ;-D
