So we reach day 51 today. Chick #1 fledged on 51 days last year. Will Tore go today? She might do but I suspect not!
Tiger Signature
See the history of fledging at Loch Garten.
In the 50 years of the Loch Garten nest the average fledging time (for the first born chick) is 52 days, the shortest 49 and the longest 59.
Someone is sneezing, don't know which is which.

Have we seen any flap ups and touch downs yet? I may have missed them. Then there is the standing on the edge and flapping phase, then turning round and thinking, better wait a bit, before I go, for real.

IMAGICAT
EJ says supper is coming (possibly)
Had huge computer crash but don't seem to have missed too much. OH says it was probably the terrible weather we have had to-day. Looks much better at LG, lets hope they dry out overnight. At least they'll be used to getting wet by the time they start fishing!
Over to you "Night Owls".
Shame the nightcam came on quite so early, this light is so good to the birds, cosmetically ;-)
EJ was wrong (or my interpretation of her peeps), or maybe she's gone to get the supper...
Goodnight Pam!
Looks like that was a false fish fanfare*, Terry, just as I was on time with the Record button ;-(
*I just edited that for the sake of alliteration ;-D
Well weather although threatening at times stayed fine and sunny with clouds down here. Looks like its been a better evening up there judging by some fantastic captures.
Thanks to all for the pics etc they are great and of course your running commentary.
Tore and Bynack look settled on the nest, occasional preening going on.
