So we reach day 51 today. Chick #1 fledged on 51 days last year. Will Tore go today? She might do but I suspect not!

EJ looking regal in spite of the rain which has now returned:
It happens every year, and I've been watching for a few, but am still so surprised to see how they can be this size, almost as adult as their parents, in such a short space of time.
Hi all, I'm all shopped out and have caught up on all the gossip from LG. Looks very wet there, as it is here, but at least they seem to have had more to eat to-day.
LINDY - Loved your "quick ditty". Goodness knows what you could produce given time, if that's what you do in a few minutes!! Really brilliant!!
Hi everyone :-)Excellent contributions. Thanks! :-)Cards on the table. I love this time of the Osprey season, basically because the wingercising is becoming more enthusiastic due to the fact that the youngsters are due to fledge fairly soon. Or to put it another way: They don't stay bobbleheads for long. Well, someone had to say it. LOL ;-)Challenge this young Osprey to a stare-out contest, and you'll likely finish third ;-)
Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Some wonderful photos, and Alan an excellent capture of the last fish delivery. Poor Bynack was nearly flattened by Odin and the fish! A super poem again Linday thank you - copied into a Word doc I have of your poetry!!
Four fish so far today, two more than yesterday although of course one was from EJ and was one of her special whoppers. Lots of drying out being done at present, Tore wingercising and Bynack chilling.

HI Heron,You feel that stare going right through you. Wouldn't like to be on the receiving end. Very exciting time but nerve racking too!!
Paul, that photo is really lovely.
It is captures like that that make you realise how fortunate we all are to be suffering from such an enormous dose of ospreyitis. How lucky we are too that there is no known cure!
Lovely pic,, Paul. Glad that everyone has enjoyed my ditty - I'm inspired by Ospreyitis!
