A new day. It is day 50 for Tore today. Will she fledge today?
Personally I do not think so as it is still very early in the fledging window and young ospreys usually spend some time staring down before taking the plunge. No sign of Tore doing any staring yet.
I notice that there were 392 posts in yesterday's thread. That really is busy!

More ground gazing ..
Peas !
There seems to be an intruder about.
I came downstairs to hear her and then see her mantling etc and screeching.

Did you really mean that Cirrus? :) :) :)
Chicks still flat as pancakes.
Good morning all and I can't keep up. Loads of posts yesterday and again this morning. Many thanks to all who keep us up to date when we are not looking in. Some wonderful pics and videos again. I missed the excitement with the first self feed but it seemed to have gone reasonably well and EJ came to help when they got a bit tired of doing it for themselves. When I logged on a feed was in progress and EJ has been catching whales again. I agree that the food is coming less frequently now but that is how it always is. Will be interesting when a fish is just dropped on the nest for them to deal with. I am sure Bynack is feisty enough to get her share. Tore is as beautiful as EJ and Bynack the spit image of Odin as many of you have observed. as I typoe EJ is finishing off the fish and Tore and Bynack must be full as they are not showing any interest. Hear the alarm call a short time ago and EJ mantled but whoever it was has gone and all is quiet on tne nest. I am so pleased that the hum has gone for now, had to turn sound right down yesterday.
Margobird
They are all still very wary; chicks still flat and EJ looking out more than she is eating.
One is now feeding again.
