Since I am at present unable to find any of the people who until this morning have posted on the LG blog , I am starting this thread to provide us with a gathering place to our liking. If this is successful and we do reunite here, the thread will be updated daily or as needed. Come & join me, folks, it's lonesome here.
Chloe I have learnt my lesson and have seen some beautiful places in Scotland but to be honest have favourites and one is Arasaig but the Wester Ross Coastal route is a must.
I do not think we will have a fledging tonight, the chicks have very full bellies.
Yes they do. All seems contented on the nest. Lovely to hear them talking to each other :)
I have travelled the road to the isles a number of times with my parents many years ago and have visited Skye twice. At some stage, who knows, I may go again.
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
Sunshine I lost the post you sent to me before on the main blog about where to so the Sea Eagles, and all the places to go. please can you pm me. Thank you
Is that Tore making all the noise, I am sure there are E no's in her fish, she will not settle and I honestly think she will fledge tomorrow or Saturday, very hyper-active I think.
I maybe have it the wrong way round but Bynack was so quick to recover from tagging and so chilled, updated and cannot think of reason why the young girl took so long to recover but Bynack was exceptionally quick.
CHLOE B yes i do recognise the photos...great.. that was the shop i purchased my shirt and mug. do you know the road outside the shop many years ago was the main road to oban and fort william. before the bridge at ballachulish it was aferry if you wanted to go to fort william. most of the traffic went round the loch via kinlochleven
KEITH the campsite near the clacaig hotel is the red squirel camp site.. also did you know they filmed the location shots for the harry potter film the prisoner of azcaban ( is that how you spell it) in that area.. i sneaked in to the area and had a look round when they stopped filming..
love the name of the new thread:))
Glad you like the name, Gary. Come on in and enjoy the chat. I am going to shorten the name somewhat, but I have a feeling that the part you like will still be there. I am just now proceeding to open the next thread. Look for LG OSPREY GABFEST.
B&B I didn't know what you meant here about the road from Applecross, but now I do.
