Steady dear Cirrus. There is no doubt we will see a drop in supply of fish from Odin the Magnificent before fledging. Its raining there too and the weather will be difficult for fishing from time to time until Saturday.
They should be exercising their wings more , but with all the fish deliveries all they do is eat and sleep while giving wing exercises minimal effort
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
Just thinking, Barbara, they haven't put their heart 'n soul into their wingercising today.

I didn't win the lottery, and there hasn't been another fish, so I am off to bed.
Good Night to you ALL.
Thats too bad Brenda. Maybe better luck on the lottery next time. Its remarkably quiet on the nest but I doubt there will be many more evenings like this during the remainder of this season. Bye for now. Emma
Yep, I do understand the Tweens need to eat less for the fledge flight, my grouse (is that how you spell that kind of grouse ) with Odin is that he should have spaced the deliveries better ( a hem, throat clear) so that the family don't have a 10 hour gap between meals.
Good night BRENDA and EMMA
Goodnight Cirrus. Aren't you a demanding lady expecting Odin to deliver on time at regualr intervals and all ;-) You live to be disappointed. Nature isn't pre-programmed. Sleep well. Catch up tomorrow:-) Em

This reads very much like a ''Quote'' CC. I expected to see a name following the sentence to tell us who said it.
You know: ''Nothing is more persistent than an Osprey mum's begging'' Chris Packham
LoL of course it should read: ''Nothing is more persistent than an Osprey mum's bgging'' CC :)
I don't approve of the lottery *halo* but my brother does it every week with his and my birth dates - I happened to catch the draw tonight, not a single solitary number was one of ours >:(
Goodnight to all the off-to-bedders :-) I shall keep watch disconsolately, hoping for some ACTION! ;-)
