Good morning all and thanks to the night shift for the commentary. Many thanks also for all the pics and scylla for the vdeos. Must nearly be a full time job for you at the moment, 2 fish already today which is a good start but looking at Cirrus' weather forecast it may not be fishing weather for a lot of the time in the next few days. Tore and Bynack resting after their breakfast and EJ has just returned. Spoke to soon one of them is squeaking away at the oment. Surely it can't be asking for more food already. Seems sure now that fledging is not far away for Tore, but the wet weather may delay that until next week. Time goes so quickly. It seems only a little while ago that we all looked forward to the arrival of EJ and Odin and here we are now reaching fledging time.

Morning all. Great posts and pics etc. from all you dedicated people. I am going to learn how to do it for next year!! Good to see the weather isn't too bad so far. We have had quite heavy rain here and lots more forecast, including thunder and lightening. Wonder what the tweens would make of that!
Morning All. Many thanks Heron for starting us off, to Scylla for some super vids as usual. I particularly liked the 5.01am offering with all that preening, which was sooo exhausting they just had to fall asleep again! Beautiful.
I was looking at the Technical Threads yesterday. There have been so many complaints about the site recently that the Moderator had actually locked many of the threads. I think they are clearly aware there is a problem!
So two fish in very short succession this morning. I wonder whether Odin has had a Tesco delivery down the road!
I have difficulty from some views in id'ing our two. But I always think that Tore has a far more brilliant bronze/chestnut colour on the back of her neck which extends further up the back of her head. I suppose that will all change as she matures. I have been trying to sketch the pattern on the front of the head, but my drawings always end up looking the same, so that's no good!
I'll just try and add a pic taken a couple of days ago.
I think these are Bynack
Bynack hiding under Tore's tail...
Tore?
Tore and Bynack are trying to snooze and EJ has just come in from the edge of the nest to do a bit of HW and tidying up and I think it is Bynack who is starting to nag for fish.

The stats for previous years are here.
Well, that's a relief. Just as I pressed the reply button the webcam stopped, and then the post was timed out, as was refreshing another forum page, and I thought I'd lost the above. Thank goodness!! The whole process worked and was much quicker, although I see that the webcam is continuing to buffer. Am out now until mid afternoon. Happy osprey watching.
So sorry everyone I feel so blessed as I have no problem loading pics from my folder in MyDocs. And I'm running an anti virus scan of 'My Computer' at the same time !!
Double dutch to me CIRRUS but sounds good!! LOL

Thank you, TIGER, for the previous years' stats :) I'm sorta glad I wasn't here in the year of the dying chicks. I am trying to check up on the Great Odin Crisis but the "fish delivery of a different kind" won't play, so I'm trying to download it. (Makes you wonder if RSPB.org is suffering a DoS attack!) Something to look forward to :-)
I have taken advantage of the lull on the site to go thru all my pictures and ruthlessly (hmmm!?) delete poor ones. But let's face it, they're nearly all poor ones, we just treasure them because they capture the moment - looking back on some of them, it's hard to tell what the heck they are ;-D
