Give us this day our daily thread.
No I'm not sure. It's just that you usually hear such a kurfuffle (?sp) when Odin comes in, and I wasn't aware of it. It could easily be another though, given how wonderful Odin has been at coming up with the goodies! Perhaps someone may have a vid?

I'm not sure whether it will show up or not, but EJ still has what looks like the remains of a fish (tail) in her right talon. Tweens are exhausted after all that food and EJ's eyes keep closing briefly.
Just logged in to see Odin is doing great in delivering fish . 5 fish so far today.
Thanks to everyone for the fantastic pictures, videos and comments . When I went to bed there had been no fish
cirrus I am amazed the system let someone else use your name. I had to add Jean to my name as it would not take just Barbara. I never use Barbara Jean except here.
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
EJ is having a snack from the left over fish
You can see the good size left over fish under EJ's foot
Chicks have woken up to the fact that food is available at the bar! I think it is currently Star who is enjoying a late tea/early supper.
One of the chicks ( I think Star) is helping EJ finish the left over fish.
These chicks are on a "Sumo diet". All they do is eat and sleep
I really don't know how they do it Barbara! But I guess that once they start migration they will be spending a lot of time learning how to fish properlyfor themselves, honing the techniques that Odin will have taught them, and I assume to begin with actually lose a lot of weight.
EJ has just returned to the nest and seems to be tidying up the odd bit of fish left lying on the nest. It really is looking quite 'spongy' in the middle now - I wonder what it smells like! EJ found a larger morsel and has taken that away to eat on her own - or perhaps a love token to Odin!!
Mostly just a nice EJ pose - pity about the headless tweens
Nice pic of EJ, Rachel.
