So another day begins. Star reaches 39 days today. That is only 10 days away from the fledging window.

Hi Brenda H, I'm working from home so hadn't signed in (lurking?!) but am watching. EJ flew off just before 12.30 p.m.
Couldn't be here yesterday so thank you everyone for the updates, pics and videos. Two fish at once yesterday then! Isn't that a bit like waiting for a bus?!
Star up and about, preening, wing strengthening and rearranging the moss. Storm taking a rest from his/her busy day! Oh, Star taking a rest now too.
Afternoon all!
I've been away for a while, not been too well, and very tired, but I thought I'd just look in today.
I see the chicks have metamorphosed into GEMs while I've been absent!
Thanks for the videos, pics and updates - glad to hear they've eaten twice already today.
The two are on the nest alone at the moment. They were lying down flat, but one or other has been moving about, and wingercizing, for the last 10 mins or so.

hmm, my attempts to create a gallery by resizing the images and placing two on each line have been mangled again :-(
BTW are those smaller pictures too small for people to see properly? Personally I find the top one (the original size) a bit large, and hence blurry, but I'm using a large LCD monitor here, so it won't be the same for everyone.
Brilliant captures/sequence Robert the Bruce! Don't think we've 'met' before but, even so, I hope you're feeling better.
EDIT: Your captures look brilliantly clear to me, not too small at all.
Lots of preening and stretching going on at the moment
Now aren't you the fine one?
Is that Star or Storm on the right. It looks to tbe the smaller of the two, so I'm guessing Storm, but I haven't seen them for a while.
Sometimes it is difficult to tell these days! But yes, it is Storm now on the right.
You can see the quills on (Star's?) tail feathers here:
